Astonishing Ancient Egyptian faience amulet depicting a deity Sobek in a full zoomorphic form of a crocodile floating on stylized water. It's an extremely rare depiction of a deity characteristic for the Middle Kingdom period (2040 BC - 1782 BC). Animal has a finely modeled elongated, naturalistic body with a defined dorsal ridge and snout. Talisman has undergone a professional clearance process to highlight a beautiful blue hue of the glaze without removing all naturally preserved earthen encrustations from the surface.
