A very rare Late Roman to Byzantine lead miniature amphora from the Holy Land. The ampulla has a pointed base with 2 handles and a cylindrical neck leading to a rounded rim. The small vessel features linear, V- and X decoration and inscriptions in Ancient Greek: YOΓPH ΘVE. The Greek phrase ΥΓΡΗ ΘΕ can be translated as "the moist of God" which refers to the holy water carried in this ampulla.
